Nothing Beats Family

Yesterday, I dropped my mom off the airport. It was truly a blessing to have my mom visit us for the summer. I am grateful that my mom is able to stay with us for several weeks. Chloe is really close to my mom and loves spending time with her. No surprise but my mom “spoils” Chloe. That is the benefit of being a grand parent; you do the spoiling while your kids are disciplining and raising the kids. Work was really busy for Nev and me. Although Chloe goes to nursery full time; there have been several instances when we had to work after 6pm. While we are blessed to have developed a community through Chloe’s nursery; we realise how important it is to have family nearby who can step in and help when needed. For us; that is my mom. My mom is my best friend. She is also my cheerleader, support system, and mentor. I look forward to spending time with her later this year for the holidays and our upcoming trips that we are planning for next year. Thanks again mommy! You are one in a million.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
