Monday’s Reflection
Happy Monday! Summer is officially here. This past week was full of challenges. My daughter, Chloe, was in the hospital again for a viral wheeze. It is crazy how fragile life can be. One minute you can be full of energy and the next minute you can be struggling to breathe. I am forever grateful for my village who was so supportive during this difficult period. I am equally proud of Chloe for being a trooper. She remained calm and followed most instructions. The nurses and doctors were impressed with her maturity and couldn’t believe that she is three years old. I highly recommend that everyone buys an oximeter. Fortunately, we were able to enjoy this past weekend and I made the most of it. She hung out with her friends and we went to a new park. So as we start a new week, please give thanks for starting a new week. I came across a quote that said that “some have happiness, everyone has summer.” It means that no matter what you are going through know that it doesn’t last forever and your best and brightest days are ahead of you.
