Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day! Yesterday, we kept the celebration simple. We ordered breakfast from our local cafe, enjoyed champagne, and laughed at how Chloe managed to make the day all about her. All joking aside, I want to give a shout out to all the dads who are present, play with their kids, support their kids, and are aware that they play a huge role in their kids’s lives. I am grateful for the men in my life: my dad, stepdad, and husband. Chloe is blessed to have so many men in her life who adore her. This is one of my favourite photos of Nev and Chloe. She wanted to get a babyccino (with chocolate on top of course) but it was raining. Nev held the umbrella for her so that she could enjoy her drink and not get wet by the rain. These little things will shape Chloe. She will know what unconditional love is. She will see that she was her daddy’s princess. Every Saturday and Sunday (except for yesterday); Nev makes a huge breakfast for Chloe. She loves it. Chloe and Nev are extremely close. I love that she is a daddy’s girl and Nev is a proud girl dad. So cheers to all the dads, uncles, grand fathers, and honestly mothers who are being amazing father figures to the next generation. It is hard work but hands down the most rewarding.
