Feel Good Moment

Happy Friday Eve! This past week has been non stop but I wanted to reflect on a positive moment that I shared with my Sorority Sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated when we met earlier this month and packed food in bags for young kids aged 8 to 18 as part of our Youth Hunger Initiative Power Pack program. We were able to pack 80 bags. After that we had lunch at a local pub in Battersea which is in south west London. Honestly, it warms my heart when we meet as a group to catch up, laugh, and pour back into our community. There are so many people who are in need. We have our challenges but we recognise that we are blessed and by working together we can be a blessing to a wider community. Remember that you too can be a blessing in your local community. Anything is better than nothing.
