Find The Moment To Exhale

Cannot believe that April is around the corner. It has been an eventful few months. Work has been keeping me busy and life continues to keep me on my toes. I needed a minute to reflect, relax, and exhale. As a self identified spacationer; I knew that I needed to head to one of my favourite spas, Aire Ancient Baths, in London. It is amazing what two hours of silence can do for your well being. I had a 45 minute massage and spent 75 min enjoying the various baths. My body and mind needed the opportunity to be still. As someone who is guilty of being booked and busy, I am learning how important it is to carve out time to exhale and relax. Does it have to be at a spa? No. But it is important for all of us to take the time to stop. Let’s kill the narrative that being stressed and busy is the only way to live. It is okay to carve out time regularly to exhale. Let’s promise that we will not wait for a breaking point to react. Let’s develop a habit to regularly reflect. I will continue to share with you what I am trying to do. Feel free to share with me what you do too.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
