Coffee Is A True Connector

Sharing a feel good moment. On 17th November 2022, I was recovering from a tough day and I needed my usual coffee, large oat latte with an extra shot and extra hot, to start my morning. I bumped into Stephanie, a fellow American, who lives in my development and whose son also attends the same nursery as my daughter. She remembered how I bought a coffee for her a few months before when she forgot her wallet. She was so grateful for my random act of kindness and was looking to return the favour when the opportunity presents itself. Needless to say when she saw me; she treated me to a coffee. It brought the biggest smile to my face. We exchanged contact details and promised to hang out but as working moms; we haven’t done it. Time passed and we were both thinking about each other; it was a pleasant surprise when we bumped into each other. We once again toasted over a cup of coffee. It was a friendly reminder that the universe listens and that there are good people out there. It also warmed my heart that Stephanie saved me as “Renee the Coffee Fairy Godmother”.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
