Entangled Pasts Exhibition

While my mom was visiting from Miami, Florida we went to check out the Entangled Pasts exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts museum. This exhibition brings together 100 artworks to explore the role of art in shaping narratives of empire, enslavement, resistance, abolition, indenture, and colonialism. My mom and I were speechless. We continue to be amazed in how powerful art can be in brining people together to address difficult topics. I highly recommend checking it out. The exhibition ends on 28th April 2024. Get involved and explore.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
