Bank Holiday Celebrations

I enjoyed the long weekend by exploring with my daughter, Chloe. I still cannot believe that it is already May. Life continues to keep me busy but I am always grateful for opportunities to connect, relax, and appreciate the little things. After taking Chloe to her gymnastics class, we decided to go to our local farmers’ market. To our surprise; free face painting and art activities were available for the kids. I even met an art instructor, Sarah, who told me that there are free art classes for adults who live in the area. Sarah also hosts sip and paint events which I plan to attend in the near future. I truly believe that it is never too late to learn new skills and embrace creative arts. As Sarah told me; there is no such thing as ugly art. So watch this space as I share some of my writing from my creative writing class when I start later this month. Until then I will continue to enjoy the moment and create memories.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
