Life Happens

I had so many plans this past weekend to enjoy the long weekend and to celebrate my recent achievement, 2024 Empower Role Model List. Unfortunately, that did not happen because my daughter was admitted to the hospital. Her health deteriorated so quickly that she was given oxygen on the spot by the paramedics and was admitted to the children’s emergency room. I am truly grateful for the quick response and the excellent treatment that Chloe received. Special shout out to the team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Although our plans were cancelled; I am truly grateful that we were able to go home after three days and that Chloe is back in full form including her appetite and energy. It is a friendly reminder that life continues to keep us on our toes but it is so important to not take for granted our health and our time while we are here. Am truly grateful for my family and friends who are near and far for their prayers, thoughts, and love. They helped me to power through.
