Happy Mother’s Day

Yesterday was Mother’s Day in the UK. This was my first Mother’s Day that I was not with my Chloe Bear. I am out of the country for a work trip for two weeks. Recently, I was given an expanded role so I decided to travel for two weeks to get to know my team and determine what our 2025 road map will be. Of course I was really sad to be away from my family but I am so grateful for my family and village who have stepped in and poured so much love into Chloe in my absence. Mother’s Day may not be an easy day for some people for several reasons. My thoughts and prayers are with people who are finding today challenging. I kept myself busy by working out, reading, volunteering, and talking on the phone with my family. Am counting down the days until I get home to be with my family later this week. That said, I am proud to see my daughter carry on and understand that I am away for work, so that I can provide for her. My life changed forever when I became a mom. Having Chloe changed my purpose and my focus. I am so proud to see her grow into a smart, caring, independent, and adventurous girl. Keep on shining baby girl, you are the best thing to have happened in my life. I love you!

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
