Happy Birthday Nev

This past weekend we celebrated my husband’s birthday. We decided to go to our local pub, Dial Arch, and have lunch outside. It was good to reflect and give God thanks for Nev’s health, Chloe’s health, and just how blessed we are to be alive. After our lunch, Chloe and I went to the park for a play date while Nev watched his team, Aston Villa, play. Unfortunately, his team didn’t win but they also didn’t lose. It was a draw. After Chloe’s play date; her friend’s parents invited us for pizza and beer. It is such a nice feeling to have a local community that we can break bread with and celebrate milestones such as birthdays. That is what life is all about. Remember to be grateful to see another day, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy the present. Cheers Nev to seeing another day and year. Know that you are blessed and loved.
