Good People Are Everywhere

The past few months were insanely busy for me to say the least. End of February, I fell down the stairs in my house while carrying my daughter and injured my right knee which has been giving me trouble for some time. Will save that for a separate post. If that wasn’t enough, my daughter, Chloe, ended up getting chicken pox three days later. Despite the clear challenges, I tried my best to stay positive and to keep on pushing. Well, one of my team members, Linjuan, who went to China to visit her family who she hadn’t seen since 2020 because of the pandemic thought about me and how it has been challenging for me. She bought me this beautiful bracelet and told me that she bought it in red because red means good luck and she hopes that mine changes soon. All, I can say is that God does amazing things with people in your life. She does not know it but that sweet gesture really cheered me up and was a friendly reminder that despite the madness going on in the world that there are good people everywhere. I have been wearing the bracelet and though life continues to keep me on my toes; I am reminded that good energy and good people are everywhere.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
