Cheers to the Weekend

I am so happy that it is Saturday. It is my favourite day of the week because it is a time for me to relax, cook, practice self care, and create new memories with my family and friends. Typically I wake up around six and do a home workout. Shout out to GrowingAnnanas. I discovered Anna’s YouTube channel during the pandemic and her followers have grown from 300,000 to over 3,000,000. While I miss going to the gym; I think she provides an amazing range of workouts from low impact to weights and now more recently HITT + Pilates. After my workout; I will go to my local coffee shop and get my usual, oat latte extra hot and extra shot. I will then buy the Financial Times Weekend newspaper because I rarely have time to watch tv so I love to use the weekend to see what happened and see what lies ahead. If the weather is decent in London; I will try to get the family to explore with me. London has so many cool things do and a lot of them are free. My go to for my two year old is the following:

  1. Parks - London has so many amazing parks. My favourite is Greenwich Park

  2. Markets - Local street food vendors to explore and support small businesses. We typically go to the Royal Arsenal Farmers’ Market

  3. Museums - Am really exploring the art scene in London. London has some of the best museums in the world. I recently became a member of Tate. Look out for my recommendations

Well it is time for me to explore. Hope that you carve out some time to pour back into yourself and enjoy time with your loved ones.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
