Training Day

I signed up for the JP Morgan 5 KM race in Battersea Park in London on 5th July. I love running and have found it as an outlet to clear my mind while enjoying outside. Over the years; I have trained for a 5KM, 10KM, Half marathon, and Marathon. That said; it has been a while since I consistently went running because I wasn’t feeling well or was busy with work so I am not in the best shape. I have three weeks to put on my running shoes while listening to a cool playlist or one of my favourite podcasts such as Brilliant Idiots; American Greed or The Read. Wish me luck and let this be a friendly reminder that it is okay to start over. The key is to put your shoes on and take one step at a time.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
