Sunday Reflection

This past weekend has been amazing. The weather in London continues to be amazing. I can finally wear maxi dresses and even bought my daughter, Chloe, Peppa Pig sunglasses so that she can protect her eyes while looking stylish. After a leave of absence; I am back to being an active member of the London (UK) chapter of The Links, Incorporated. The Links, Incorporated was established in 1946 and is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organisations committed to enriching, sustaining, and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other people of African ancestry. We are linked in friendship and committed to service. I look forward to co-chairing the Arts Facet. In 2023, I decided to explore art more. London has some of the best museums in the world and there is so much power in communicating ideas through art. It is only 1030am and I have a packed day with swimming lessons and hosting a nice dinner with some of my in-laws. Although, I had an eventful week with normal challenges; I am truly grateful to connect with people; exercise; and recharge. Hope that you enjoy your Sunday.

I make a living working in the City of London in banking. For fun I love to read, run, visit spas, and spend time with my family and friends. I believe that each of us holds power in our words and can be whatever we want to be so long as we make the commitment to work on it. I love to tell and share stories.
